Empowering a Village: Bringing Light to Gal Waraya/Kallarawa Temple Through Solar Panels

In the heart of the remote village of Gal Waraya/Kallarawa, nestled north of Trincomalee, a unique charity project recently illuminated the lives of the villagers and their spiritual sanctuary. The temple, a center of cultural and religious significance, faced the challenge of limited access to electricity, hindering both the daily activities of the residents and the worship practices at the temple. 

However, through a compassionate and innovative endeavor, a group of individuals came together to install solar panels, not just as a source of power, but as a beacon of hope and unity for the entire community.
